Learning a language from a young age comes naturally. A child learns the second language they are exposed to as easily as their mother tongue. It becomes like one big language to them.

Learning languages as a child allows the brain to absorb them readily, but later it has to actively find space and this becomes much harder work. Learning two or more languages early can also help a child's development in their mother tongue.
