Experienced, qualified, flexible, down to earth, easy going and fun Live in Full-Time Nanny is required for a busy household with three children, predominantly focusing on the eldest two children, preschool and toddler, who attend full-time school daily until 1 pm, and later on also assisting with the baby (currently looked after by maternity nurse).

The family travels frequently and split their time between Switzerland, UK and USA. This is a shared care role, working in a team with a nanny/housekeeper and the mother (who works from home), with some sole charge. Flexibility is essential for this role, and the family are open to fewer hours at a lower salary, but ideally would like a Nanny who is happy to work on call on 24/5 schedule (and occasionally a 6th day) - the children sleep through the night.

Teaching background/Degree in childhood studies/child psychology is essential for this role, as well as prior experience working in a private household and travelling with families. The candidate must be a confident swimmer, but driving is not required for this role. Excellent level of English is essential for this role.

Accommodation is provided in each location (own bedroom and bathroom). This is a long-term role (2+ year commitment) with a lovely family.

Duties include:

  • preparing the children for school in the mornings
  • school runs
  • taking the children to activities and play dates
  • playing with the children
  • planning age and developmentally appropriate activities including arts and crafts projects
  • feeding the children
  • occasionally cooking the children's meals
  • nursery duties such as keeping the children's rooms tidy and their clothes and belongings organised
  • travelling frequently with the family
  • working in a team with the parents and other staff members
