Overview:

As the Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to achieve company growth targets. You will be responsible for the ongoing development of our marketing communications using all relevant channels, contributing ideas, and supporting the creation of content suitable for our client base for the group of companies (Little Ones, Guardian Carers and Little Ones Payroll Service).

Main Duties & Responsibilities

You will be working in a supportive environment. Here, you will have the chance to learn and develop the skills necessary to grow your Marketing career. You will be responsible for:

  • Writing strong and compelling content for the group companies’ websites
  • Creating social media content in line with the company guidelines
  • Managing social enquiries and responding appropriately whilst liaising with the relevant departments when needed
  • Following social media & marketing trends and showing interest in Marketing
  • Having the ability to discover relevant news stories to the business and write engaging copy to include our input
  • Engaging in client outreach with the goal of securing suitable backlinks to the businesses
  • Reporting and managing the performance of the activity

The responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive and you will be expected to perform different tasks as required by your changing role within the business.

Essential skills

We are looking for the following skills:

  • Fluency in written & spoken English
  • Someone who is creative and passionate about Marketing
  • Interest in PR or Journalism
  • Understanding of SEO concepts
  • Confidence using social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Premiere and/or Canva preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Be based in London
