Little Ones work in partnership with Maternal Response to provide Materity Nurses and Night Nannies with years of experience in newborn care. Tanya Leary, our Maternity Nurse partner, provides new parents with care and consideration to aid with the entrance of their new little one, or ones and help make this an even more positive experience.

Maternity and Night Nannies recruited to assist Little Ones clients undergo specialist vetting procedures developed over the years we have operated successfully as an Agency. Below are details regarding what may be expected of a Maternity Nurse in London, the UK and Europe.

• A Maternity Nurse is normally employed 24 hours 5 to 7 days per week for a period of one to 12 weeks following the birth of a family’s baby.
• A Maternity Nurse will assist the mother in putting the baby into a sleep routine. Where needed, they will assist the mother in nursing. A Maternity Nurse may bottle feed a baby if this is the family’s wish. They may offer advice to new parents in care of the new baby.
• A Maternity Nurse may sleep in the baby’s room or separately, this is entirely the decision of the family.
• A Maternity Nurse may care for older children in the home also to allow the mother time with her new baby. However Maternity Nurses are primarily employed to care for the newborn.
• Duties may include: bottle sterilization, bathing baby, sleep routine, preparation of the nursery, washing the baby’s clothes.
• Maternity Nurses will earn between £600 to £1200 net per week depending on experience and days required.
• The Little Ones Agency Fee for providing a Maternity Nurse is £40 plus VAT per day or £100 plus VAT per week. For longer bookings Little Ones are able to offer a negotiated discount. Little Ones charge £40 for registration of Maternity and Night Nanny positions, this will be discounted from the placement fee.
