Night Nannies

Our Night Nannies have years of experience in newborn and baby care. Our candidates each have their own methods in sleep training for babies, we take care to match the candidate who fits with the family’s ethos. Our Night Nannies undergo specialist vetting procedures developed over the years we have operated successfully as an Agency.

Little Ones are proud to offer Night Nanny services in London, the UK and Europe.  Night Nannies are very popular with tired parents so we ensure we are able to provide these services at very short notice.

For more information about vetting procedures visit our For Families page. For a no obligation discussion about your childcare options, or to view some possible candidates or for Night Nanny vacancies we have available - please contact Little Ones on +44 (0) 207 580 3113.

Below are details regarding what may be expected of a Night Nanny in London and the UK.

  • A Night Nanny is normally employed 10 to 12 hours from 7pm - 9pm to 7am – 9am for as long as a family requires.
  • A Night Nanny will allow the mother to gain some much needed sleep at night so she is able to care for her baby during the day.
  • A Night Nanny will, where required, encourage the baby into a healthy night sleep routine.
  • A Night Nanny will do the night feeds for the parents so they may sleep.
  • A mother may express her milk or allow the Night Nanny to feed the baby with formular. A mother may choose to have her Night Nanny bring her baby to be fed in her room during the night.
  • A Night Nanny may offer advice to new parents in care of the new baby.
  • A Night Nanny may sleep in the baby’s room or separately with a baby monitor. This is entirely the decision of the family.
  • Night Nannies will earn between £8 to £10 per hour depending on experience.
  • The Little Ones Agency Fee for providing a Night Nanny is £35 plus VAT per day or £130 plus VAT per week. For longer bookings Little Ones are able to offer a negotiated discount.
