Cristina came across as a very approachable and personable nanny with a very caring nature to her. Throughout the whole interview she seemed relaxed and was smiling and spoke effortlessly about her experience. She was a delight to interview and was incredibly confident and expressive when she spoke about her love for children. She also mentioned she is great in the kitchen. She has an NVQ3 in childcare from Spain and also has experienced working in a baby room as the leader. Here she catered for up to 20 babies at a time and has excellent organisation and time management skills. Her experience consists of working as an after school part time nanny for the past 9 years. She has worked for various different families in Spain the ages of the children were from 0- 11 years old. She has also worked as a live in nanny for the past year in London with a little child. She says she is always in very good communication with both the children and the parents. Her cheerful and positive nature helps the children to develop and learn in the right ways. Cristina sees herself as a great assist to families, she said that she would love to work with school aged children as she has a lot to contribute to their school experience; motivate them, assist with homework, help with their social development and arrange fun and arts and crafts activities. She is confident with all the traditional nanny duties,; cooking, tidying up, laundry and ironing. Cristina also seemed a person with a 'can-do' attitude, she would be happy to help families with light housework, errands etc. I am recommending to meet her as soon as possible.
