Lisa was a pleasure to interview. She came across as a warm and professional Nanny with a passion for helping children to learn. She has around 7 years' professional Nannying and tutoring experience working with children aged between 4 months and 18 years. Lisa speaks both French and English to a native level as well as being fluent in Italian. She has also taught herself Japanese, of which she says she has reached an intermediate level.
Of herself, Lisa says "I am patient, responsible and reliable. I am very creative and I always encourage children to make sure they can look back and be proud of their achievements".
Overall, she came across as an excellent candidate. I would strongly recommend meeting her at your earliest convenience for any after school nanny or tutoring role.
"Lisa worked for us as a Nanny between September 2014 and March 2015. She was caring for our 2 boys aged 4 and 8 years when she started. We unfortunately decided mutually to part company, as we needed full time care for our newborn who was born in January 2015 and Lisa was already working (and living-in) in another part-time role. We would have kept her if we could! She was really good at helping with the homework and would also help coordinate their social activities. She would also read with the children. Lisa is dependable, reliable and responsible. We still use her as our fist call for babysitting sometimes. She was always as flexible and accommodating as she could be with her other job. She is a professional, calm and sensible person who is very good at setting clear boundaries for children. She was never late or sick that I can remember. I would thoroughly recommend her, she is a perfect fit for a Nanny / tutor role. Please feel free to pass on my number to the family." - (Mr Cushing, verbal reference)
