Lorna was a very lovely candidate to interview. She spoke with passion and emotion when we discussed her previous roles with families who she spent a great deal of time with. She was the nanny for one child for 11 years from 2004 till October 2015. She worked with this family as a housekeeper, nanny and assisted in the kitchen and has travelled with this family and moved when required. In this position she was based in Chelsea, Cambridge and the US for one year.
Lorna comes across as a candidate seeking long term commitment and stability with a family who allow her to demonstrate her hard working nature, great attention to detail and love for children, as suggested by her written reference [see attachments below]. She is open to either live in or live out, but would ideally like to meet the family first to make sure they are right for her.
"Lorna was our housekeeper and our nanny for 11 years. She was a sole charge and shared care nanny to my son from 7 months till 12 years old with whom she had an amazing relationship and he still misses her. With him she was very energetic, engaging with a fantastic ability to connect with children. She really takes her time to put the child first, and is amazing at keeping to a schedule for indoor and outdoor activities. She was warm, always reliable, and i was aways happy to leave her sole charge as she was phenomenally responsible.
Her housekeeping skills are amazing and always made our home warm and comfortable. She was self motivated and was always happy to get on with her job. She is an asset to any working family. She knows the difference between engaging with the family and knew when we wanted our space. I am happy to be contacted if any client is considering hiring her."
