It was a pleasure to meet Marie. She came across as very friendly and kind individual. I met her on Skype first and she came to the office to meet me in person. Marie presented herself in a professional manner and was very informative when telling her experience.
Marie told me that she was a part time, after school nanny for children. She was responsible for picking the children from school, cooking meals for them, assisting them with homework, playing fun and educational games, helping with bath and bed routine and organising their clothes and lunch for the next day. Marie also told me that on few occasions she had to pick up and look after friends of the children she was a nanny for. She told me that she loves working with children and has always been able to build good and lasting relationships with them.
Marie told me that she has a degree in information and communication from France and is looking to improve her English language skills. She will be looking to attend language classes in order to improve herself.
Marie loves cooking and baking and said that she will be happy to cook whatever the family requests. She enjoys outdoor activities, swimming and yoga. Marie will be happy to work in households with pets.
Overall, I thought that Marie was a lovely candidate who would make an excellent au pair.
