It was a real pleasure to interview Pierina, she came across as a proactive, enthusiastic, well educated, creative, optimist, very determined and emphatic person. She describes herself as an incredibly passionate person about all she does. Since years she has been working with children and young people in a variety of settings, always has to do with teaching and learning. Pierina loves to attend seminars and workshops to learn more about the world of child development, teaching, learning and psychology. Pierina has experience as a nanny in the UK as well as abroad including working with babies up to teenagers. She is trained and certified to deliver phonetic literacy support programme and adapt it for children of all ages, including teenagers with spelling difficulties. She has been helping children with literacy, organisation, assertiveness, behaviour, anger, self-esteem, negativity towards school, dyslexia, English as an additional language (EAL), among other things. With smaller children, she also has plenty of experience with potty and weaning training, speech development, separation anxiety, etc. With babies, She also has experience with weaning and early stimulation for development both physically and mentally. She does believe in talking a lot to them since they are tiny sponges wanting to absorb the wonderful world around them. Pierina is an experienced nanny who is looking for a full time position in a lovely family and feel part of it. I highly recommend her.
