A German-speaking Afterschool Nanny is required by a Chelsea-based family to look after their three school-aged children. The working hours for this position will be Monday to Friday, approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility to work full time during school holidays. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
You will be responsible for
- Helping children with their school homework
- Creating a safe, fun, secure and loving environment for children
- Keeping the bedrooms, equipment and toys clean, well maintained, and
sterilised
- Making healthy and appetising meals for the children
- Ensuring that the personal needs of children are met on the daily
basis
- Collecting and then washing and ironing the children’s clothes
- Preparing children for bed
- Planning playdates
- Taking to school, activities and events
- Creating a trusting, loving and happy environment for the whole family
- Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of young
children
- Attending any appointments or social events with the children
Someone who speaks German would be advantageous for this position to help the children communicate well using the language. The family would like someone to start as soon as possible.
