A family in Bromham, Bedford is looking for a Live In Part Time Au Pair to look after their two lovely school-aged children. A warm and loving candidate who is willing to be a part of the family on a long term basis and can spend time and bond with the kids would be highly preferable. The working hours for this job would be Monday to Friday, up to 15 hours a week.
Duties for this position would include:
- cooking healthy meals for the children,
- taking the children to activities,
- being a positive and engaging presence in the children’s lives,
- attending playgroups, music classes, swimming lessons,
- organising playdates,
- and assisting with homework.
The Au Pair will also be required to do some light childcare housekeeping such as
- cleaning up after meals,
- changing bedsheets once a week,
- keeping the kitchen clean at all times,
- and running some errands for the family such as doing grocery
shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills.
Own room and own bathroom at the top floor will be provided for the candidate. A valid First Aid Qualification is needed for this job. The family would like someone to start as soon as possible.
