A family in Barnet, London is seeking an Afterschool Nanny to take care of their toddler and school-aged child. The family would need someone from Monday to Friday, approximately 17 to 22 hours per week. Someone who speaks Punjabi would be advantageous but not a must. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
The family would appreciate someone who is warm, loving, and is fun but knows when to be firm. Someone who can drive is essential for this position.
The duties for the position would include
- assisting with bath time routine,
- dressing the children,
- feeding them,
- cleaning them up after every meal,
- taking them to playdates,
- preparing various age-appropriate activities,
- playing with them,
- helping the other child with homework,
- making sure they are always happy and safe,
- changing nappies and helping the little one with potty/toilet training,
- teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
Light housekeeping such as
- laundry and ironing after the children,
- cleaning up after the meals,
- maintaining the children's room and play areas tidy at all times,
