A family is looking for a French speaking Afterschool Nanny to care for two school-aged children in Camden, London. The family is looking for someone who is reliable and can create a structure for the children. The Afterschool Nanny will be required to work Monday to Friday, approximately 25 hours per week with some flexibility. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Duties will include
- Helping children with after-school activities like homework
- Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Providing supervision and constant care to children
- Being disciplined with the children when required
- Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
- Playing with the children and taking them to the park
- Planning and organising age-related activities
- Stimulating children to read and be active
- Reading to and with the children
- Implementing daily routines
Someone who speaks French would be ideal for this role to help the children communicate well using the language. The family owns a cat so a pet-friendly would be advantageous.
