A family is looking for a French-speaking Afterschool Nanny to care for their school-aged child in Barnet, London. The Afterschool Nanny will be required to work Monday to Friday, approximately 20 hours per week with some flexibility.
Duties will include
- collecting the child from school
- helping with homework
- preparing meals and snacks
- arranging playdates
- helping with homework
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to the child
- tidying away their toys after use – child to help
- helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise
bags for the next day
- light laundry of child’s clothes
- occasional grocery shopping
Someone who speaks French would be ideal for this role to help the child communicate well using the language. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position. Someone who can drive would be a big plus but not a must.
