A family currently residing in Chelsea, London is seeking an energetic and fun German speaking part time after school nanny to look after their school aged child. The family needs a candidate who can speak German fluently to help the child learn the language and to communicate well with the family.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 3:30 pm to 7 pm with additional hours of occasional babysitting
Duties include:
- collecting the child from school
- helping with homework
- preparing meals and snacks
- arranging playdates
- helping with homework
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to the child
- tidying away their toys after use teaching the child to help
- helping with the evening routine
- light laundry of child’s clothes
- occasional grocery shopping
- keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas clean and tidy
- soothing and comforting child and showing affection
