A family in Redbridge, London is looking for a German speaking Afterschool Nanny to look after their lovely school-aged child. The working hours for this job would be Monday to Friday, approximately 15 hours per week.
The family is looking for a self-reliant, caring and active Nanny to look after their child. Someone who speaks German would be advantageous for this role, the family is also open for Dutch speakers.
Duties for this position would include
- meal preparation,
- help sometimes with homework,
- help the child with learning,
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to the child
- tidying away child's toys after use
- helping with the evening routine, eg help the child organise
bags for the next day
- light laundry of child’s clothes
- occasional grocery shopping
The Part-Time Nanny will also be required to do some light childcare housekeeping such as
- cleaning up after meals,
- keeping the kitchen clean at all times,
- keeping a tidy and organised child’s bedrooms, bathroom and play area
