A family situated in Islington, London is looking for a German speaking Afterschool Nanny to look after their two school-aged children. The working hours for this job would be 4 days a week, approximately 12 hours per week.
Someone who speaks German is essential for this position to help the children communicate well using the language.
The responsibilities of the Afterschool Nanny will be
- collecting children from school
- preparing meals for them
- arranging playdates
- helping with their homework
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to them
- tidying away their toys after use – children to help
- helping with the evening routine, eg help children organise their bags for the next day
The Nanny will need to do some light housekeeping duties such as
- light laundry of children’s clothes
- occasional grocery shopping
- cleaning up after the meals
- ensuring toys are organised and play areas are tidy
