German-speaking Live out Full TimeNanny is needed by a family in Westminster, London to take care of their two children, a toddler and a nursery school-aged child, the focus will mostly be on the younger child. The family is looking for someone reliable, patient and caring. The nanny will need to have experience with children in that age range and have a “muck-in” attitude.
The nanny will need to be organised and stay on top of the children’s activities, bedrooms and toys (the family has a housekeeper already, so no deep cleaning will be needed, only children-related). The working hours will be full time from Monday to Friday. Ideally, the nanny will be happy to travel with the family, though this is not a must. A valid First Aid qualification is essential. Someone who speaks German is needed for this role.
Duties will include:
- supervision of the children at all time
- organising playdates, playgroups, trips to the park and playground
- encouraging children's development by playing with them
- planning are appropriate activities including taking them to local classes and activities
- reading to the children
- arts and crafts
- imaginative play
- messy play
- getting the children ready in the morning
- changing nappies, sterilising bottles and bath and nap time for the toddler
- meal planning, grocery shopping and cooking healthy meals for the children
- clearing up after the children's meals
- washing the children's clothes
- changing the children's bedsheets
- running errands when needed
- keeping the house tidy and making sure toys and play areas (including the children bedrooms) are organised
