An Italian speaking Au Pair is needed in the gorgeous area of St Albans (22 minutes direct train to Kings Cross) to care for two school aged children.

The children speak Italian in the household so this is essential for the family. Someone who also speaks German would be a huge bonus but not essential.

The family have had Au Pairs before and kept in touch - even spending holidays in Italy with them. The family are looking for an upbeat and caring Au pair someone who will act as an older sister to their children. Both children are very active in participating in afterschool activities. School is within walking distance so a driver is not needed. The family have two very friendly cats so you must be pet friendly. You may take your holiday when the family is taking their holiday travel.

St Albans is a leafy area on the outskirts of London, very easy commute and very sociable area. You will have your own top floor of the house with own bedroom and bathroom, very separate from the family. They have a cleaner that comes once a week. However, if you would like to make more money, they are happy to offer you more hours and duties.

The family will offer weekly salary and cover all transport, accommodation and groceries. You are more than happy to join the family during the weekend for activities of outings or your can do your own thing.

Your duties:

  • get the children up and ready for school
  • light household errands
  • assist with any homework
  • prepare evening meals
  • help in evening routine

The family would like the Au Pair to start as soon as possible but they are willing to wait for the perfect candidate.
