A family is looking for a Mandarin speaking Afterschool Nanny to care for their school-aged child in Southwark, London. The Afterschool Nanny will be required to work Monday to Friday, approximately 20 hours per week with some flexibility.
Duties will include
- Helping the child with afterschool activities like homework
- Providing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- Providing supervision and constant care to the child
- Being disciplined with the child when required
- Tidying up child's bedrooms and play areas
- Playing with the child and taking to the park
- Planning and organising age-related activities
- Stimulating the child to read and be active
- Reading to and with the child
- Implementing daily routines
Someone who speaks Mandarin would be ideal for this role to help the child communicate well using the language. Someone with experience in childcare is a big plus. It would be advantageous if the candidate knows how to drive.
