A fantastic opportunity has become available for a professional, reliable, warm, experienced and easy going Nanny to join a family with soon to be three children, based in Manhattan, New York. You will be in sole care of all three children, two of which attend nursery & primary school, whilst the baby (under six months old) is at home full time. The family employ a housekeeper, allowing you he opportunity to focus fully on childcare related duties and developmentally appropriate play and activities. A driver is not essential whilst in NY, however would be helpful when the family travel to Europe. They spend most of the summer in European countries such as Switzerland, Germany and the UK, with shorter trips throughout the year. This is a live in role, and you will be provided with your own bedroom and bathroom. The family are looking for an experienced Nanny who is available for a long term commitment, ideally at least 2 years, and already holds the right to work in the US (US passport/Green Card). You will work Mondays - Fridays, typically up to 12 hours per day (on Fridays you will often be able to finish early), with flexibility whilst traveling. This role is to start as soon as possible (June/July 2018).

Salary is negotiable depending on level of experience and qualifications.

Your main duties will include:

Full nursery/nanny duties Supporting all aspects of the children's development and learning Arranging activities Helping with reading and writing and all learning Accompanying the family on trips abroad Preparing the children's meals Following set out routine, as well as assisting with adjusting routine as needed
