We provide a bespoke Maternity Practitioners Course which is modern and relevant to todays postnatal mothers. Our course was developed through consultation with Mothers and sought after Maternity Practitioners. Our Maternity Course (Postnatal and Infant Care Education) will provide you with Level 3 OCN Accreditation and Level 4 OCN Accreditation.
What is the OCN?
Open College Network is an awarding body that provides certification for a variety of courses. We can guarantee that our course is of an excellent standard and covers everything a trainee practitioner needs to know. As a Maternity Practitioner, you will learn how to give essential care and support to a family with a baby between 0 to 6 months. It is a highly rewarding career, giving you the chance to really get to know the family you work with.
Within the course you will cover:
Breast and Bottle Feeding Support Skills
Skills to Support the Postnatal Mother in Establishing Effective Sleeping Routines and feeding
Health and Hygiene Care of Newborns
Information on how to effectively care for premature infants and multiple births
